June 2010 Kentucky Trip
R.A.M.P. volunteers will be traveling to Kentucky in mid-June to work with WHOLE FOODS MARKET as part of Whole Foods' community service project! We are very excited about this opportunity to work with Whole Foods. Special thanks to Ashley Rawl of WALTER P. RAWL & SONS, INC., a major grower and packer of quality fresh vegetables, who has been working with RAMP for the past couple months. Ashley has been instrumental in helping provide the Homecoming Food Pantry with fresh produce and working with RAMP to test the soil and prepare plans for the community garden.
February 2010 Kentucky Trip
R.A.M.P. received an official Proclamation from the Governor of Kentucky for its work alleviating poverty in eastern Kentucky! The whole month of February was declared R.A.M.P. Month in the State of Kentucky! A representative from the Governor's office presented R.A.M.P. founder Amy Guerrieri with the Proclamation at a ceremony at Inez School.
While in Kentucky, R.A.M.P. spent the week in Martin County working specifically with the schools on purchasing food for their "Backpack Snack' program. R.A.M.P. also filled the Homecoming Church's Food Pantry and met with community leaders to discuss other options to help in the community.
November 2009 Kentucky Trip
August 2009 Kentucky Trip
R.A.M.P. checked in with families, schools and the Food Pantry it has been working with on a regular basis, bringing much needed back-to-school items such as school supplies and clothing, as well as stocking food pantries and presenting a nutritional workshop at the schools. R.A.M.P. met specifically with some school children the schools identified as being the most needy and provided those children with filled backpacks full of school supplies to start the school year out right.
May 2009 Kentucky Trip
R.A.M.P. worked in devastated flood areas to help families with immediate, basic needs, such as food and new beds and furniture that had been ruined by the flash floods from early May.
March 2009 Kentucky Trip
R.A.M.P.'s first trip to Martin County, Kentucky. R.A.M.P. worked with another charity on the ground in Kentucky to reach out to local schools, churches, health clinics, child care centers and food pantries to deliver supplies of Rockin' Water to them, as well as needed cash donations, and a full tractor trailer truck full of donated clothes, personal hygiene products and school supplies. R.A.M.P. also met and assisted the two families that R.A.M.P. has dedicated itself to assist in the coming years.
R.A.M.P. Fundraisers

Thanks to all that made the 2nd annual Give In-Style event such a succes! Funds raised will go toward filling the Homecoming Food Pantry and the school "Backpack Snack" programs in Martin County, KY.
October 2009... Women's
R.A.M.P. gathered some of the brightest and most dedicated women in the area for a "Mastermind" conversation and brainstorm on how to expand R.A.M.P.'s reach and effectiveness in Appalachia. Thanks to all who attended! We got some great ideas and really motivated women who will help take R.A.M.P. to the next level. Check back in the next couple months for more exciting updates on R.A.M.P.
A great night was had by all who attended the wine tasting at the home of Cathy Lueders. Over sixty back-packs filled with all the supplies needed to start the school year off right were donated to children of Martin County, Kentucky. In addition to backpacks there were also over fifty packs of diapers collected to be donated to needy families.
The special presentations were fun and informative and we hope had as good a time as we did!
